the first chapter of the Gita containing 47 verses is titled "Meeting OneSelf."
now what can happen upon such a meeting?
obviously chapter 2 titled "The Lord's Sweetness."
Q. Who is oneSelf?
A. He is the Supreme Lord Himself.
OneSelf and HimSelf and the Lord the Brahman the Divine are all synonyms. All mean the Lord.
The God. The Supreme Consciousness that pervades this entire creation. The Essence of us all. The core of everything.
when the rare amongst us dares to meet Him. when the elusive Lord is found by one amongst us, by myself,
then,
the sweetness flows.
the unlimited joyful abundance is unveiled.
What is Sweetness?
just another name for what is most dear. what is so nourishing. what empowers and strengthens and resolves. the one that dissolves.
if salt is your first choice, simply substitute the 2nd chapter name to be "The Salt of the Earth."
What is mosr desirable is meant here.
what is one's first choice right now; is meant here.
So when one meets the Self, the Lord's Sweetness is the reward.
the Love and Support and Goodwill of the Lord results upon meeting oneSelf.
Isn't that anyone's Aim. Goal?
Unspoken yet the Eternal wish.
Unthought yet beyond doubt the only thought.
The deepest desire.
The fundamental Instinct.
So in this 2nd chapter of the Gita, as we go through the verses, we realise what the Lord means to us. What the Lord gives us. Why we desire Him so much.
