The Bhagavad Gita श्रीमद् भगवद् गीता
Verse 1.10
Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.10
अपर्याप्तं तदस्माकं बलं भीष्माभिरक्षितम् ।
पर्याप्तं त्विदमेतेषां बलं भीमाभिरक्षितम् ।।
A most fatal error of over smart advertisement, of aggressive soliciting, of being pushy beyond limits.
When one markets with unwanton aggression, when one tries to force someone to buy, when one acts with greed or feverish ambition, then automatically the Good Lord ensures one's downfall.
Such a terrible misdeed's result is stated crisply and succinctly in this Verse 1.10
ok, so what actually happens when one attempts such sales practise? Well, one's own brain mixes up one's effort because the conscience sitting within can no longer take it. And one utters something that is directly detrimental to us, that doesn't go unnoticed by the client, that lays the seed for one's eventual downfall.
The mind wished to wrap up the sales pitch with a statenent that would mean we are the best and greatest, but one's conscience deftly positioned itself on one's lips and made one utter - our product is insufficient in meeting your demands, the competitor's product shall do your job.
अपर्याप्तं तद् अस्माकं बलं
(know) that our strength is insufficient.
Our product is inferior.
पर्याप्तं तु इदम् एतेषां बलं
and that of their's is superior.
and that strength of their's is sufficient.
Remember this is called a self-goal. This is called stabbing one self. This is a classic example of bringing about one's own down fall.
And it all happens in a flash. It all happens without warning. It all happens without any clue to oneself.
Such is the greatness of the Universal Conscience. Such is yhe munificience of the Cosmic Intelligence.
Such is the event that highlights the Inviolable law of creation - Truth alone Triumphs. Victory ensues to the innocent. The Right prevails.
