The Bhagavad Gita श्रीमद् भगवद् गीता

Verse 1.12

Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.12

तस्य सञ्जनयन्हर्षं कुरुवृद्धः पितामहः ।
सिंहनादं विनद्योच्चैः शङ्खं दध्मौ प्रतापवान् ।।

and my friend, do you have any idea what happens when you give proper respect and praise to an esteemed personality?
or when you offer a high seat to the saint? to the master?
or when you take good care of your son or home or car?

ofcourse you very well know this answer...

The famous figurehead responds by giving a superlative performance. The Saint's blessings drench you.

Your son or home or car behaves and responds to its fullest potential.

Your practise or Sadhana or spiritual discipline gives you untold benefits.

All around is a cheering, a jubilation, a noisy pell mell.
All around is an euphoria that is contagious and expansive.

You turn up your amplifier full volume.
You give your automobile full throttle.
You crank up your smartphone to max.
You hold a grand light and sound show...

All around there is unbridled gaiety, there is a simultaneous explosion of many free wills, thunder and lightening arrive to lend a hand.

सञ्जनयन्हर्षं
The entire creation peals in joy.
सिंहनादं विनद्योच्चैः
the Lions let out a roar,
शङ्खं दध्मौ
the conchs are blown.
प्रतापवान्
full blast, fullest, loudest.

i am sure this has happened to you.
i am sure you have celebrated likewise on the arrival of a daughter.
i am sure you go all out during the soccer world cup final, or during the Wimbledon final or after having made the 100m dash or the formula 1.

This verse 1.12 is a symphony. It is an orchestra. It represents the expression of joy, of undiluted pleasure.

having crossed Muri Junction in Ranchi Rajdhani.
