The Bhagavad Gita श्रीमद् भगवद् गीता
Verse 1.14
Bhagavad Gita Verse 1.14
ततः श्वेतैर्हयैर्युक्ते महति स्यन्दने स्धितौ ।
माधवः पाण्डवश्चैव दिव्यौ शङ्खौ प्रदध्मतुः ।।
The Lord and Thee, comfortably seated in your magnificient automobile, together do a most wonderous activity...
Ain't it such a joy...
To do the same thing as the Lord does...and to be with Him.
Notice a fine sculpting here. A beautiful verse. Handcrafted with care. Full of aesthetic charm.
माध्वः
Sweet like honey, ie sweet without side effect.
Nourishingly sweet. Healthy sweet. A much needed essential ingredient of intake. For one and all. For babies, teens or the grownups.
पाण्डवः
someone with a rare capability.
the capability of soaking learning receiving. The capability of the swan, that can take only the milk from a mix of milk and water.
A highly discriminative brain. Choosy and tuned towards the finer.
श्वेतैः
white. spotless. whole. pure. sparkling, luminous.
स्यन्दने
royal chariot. ferrari. rolls royce or merc or folkswagon.
To evoke a strong beauty. To highlight a splendour. A grandeur.
स्धितौ
well seated. comfortably esconsced. properly established. stolid stance.
Words placed immaculately. Beautifully.
दिव्यौ शङ्खौ प्रदध्मतुः
the breath is divine.
blowing is divine
conchs are divine.
Guru Nanak said पवन गुरु
Sri Sri says do your breath practise so that your vision becomes divine
Tulsidas ji says Hanuman is the strong wind that can lay the foundation for victory.
All of us are today familiar with Pranayama. A way of practising the breath to achieve strength and fiitness of mind and body.
The starting step in the path of achieving freedom for the soul.
The Bhagavaf Gita expresses this fluidly. Smoothly it tells about blowingly strongly, about breathing deeply. Long deep wilful breathing. Breathing slow full and controlled.
Such a beautiful verse on Pranayama. On Sudarshan Kriya. On two most divine beings practising breath control. That is how one becomes divine. To attain divinity in life, devote some time every day to this sadhana.
on reading, a wow a wonder a joy wells up. Yes it is doable. Yes i can do it.
