We have recently become aware of the International Day of Yoga.
It was in December 2014 that the United Nations proclaimed 21 June as the Day. http://www.un.org/en/events/yogaday/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Yoga_Day Most Indians are familiar and have done Surya Namaskar and some form of Pranayama. Surya Namaskar http://www.stylecraze.com/articles/the-complete-workout-surya-namaskaras/ Anulom Vilom or Nadi Shodhan https://www.sarvyoga.com/anulom-vilom-pranayama-steps-and-benefits/ Slowly the use and benefit is percolating everywhere as the US and Europe join https://yoga.lovetoknow.com/Famous_Yoga_Teachers http://integralyoga.org/ https://www.yogaalliance.org/TeacherPublicProfile?tid=23250 http://www.dw.com/en/say-%C3%B6m-for-travelers-germany-is-yoga-friendly/a-1128423 However, for most of us the real meaning of Yoga got obscured. It simply is not a lifestyle matter nor an outer garment. Yoga is closely related to the mind and heart. Being able to sit in Meditation is one of the profoundest gifts of Yoga. This can be practiced by all. It does not dependent on current health status or capability. Once we can begin to sit for 10 minutes doing NOTHING, something incredible happens. The cosmic force awakens. TiMe and SpAcE become friends. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DCN4XSL जय गुरुदेव

I completely agree with you, yoga is wonderful. Lately, I've been attending hot yoga classes, and my health has improved significantly.
